Amidst the heart of spring, "New Beginnings" beckons you to embark on a soulful journey within, surrounded by the healing beauty of nature in full bloom. Immerse yourself in an experience that blends the rejuvenating essence of the season with transformative practices like yoga, meditation, creative movement, breathwork, and rituals.

 

This retreat is an invitation to explore, enjoy, and express yourself, focusing on the reawakening of your true nature. As your guide, my aim is to create a safe haven for you to be exactly as you are, embracing this journey with love and playfulness. Picture yourself in a serene oasis, where the flourishing spring becomes a backdrop to your inner exploration and self-expression.

Special offerings

Learn the fundamentals of the ancient thai healing art of Thai Massage in a short but deep embodied workshop.

We'll journey down one of Kea's ancient paths, immersed in abundant olive tress and sounds of nature, to a historic Apollo temple located on a secluded bay.

Numerous guided meditations will be offered throughout the week to provide a deeper connection with the moment and enhanced sensorial experience of your surroundings.

Your teacher

Meet Anastasia Papadouli, a radiant soul hailing from Greece, who wears multiple hats as a Yoga teacher, Reiki therapist, and professional photographer. Anastasia's yoga repertoire spans various styles, including hatha, yin yang flow, creative flow vinyasa, and yin yoga.

 

In every class, Anastasia sees an opportunity to forge heart-to-heart connections with her students. Her classes are not just about the physical practice; they're a canvas for inspiration and mutual growth. Anastasia finds immense joy in witnessing her students bloom and cherishes the authenticity of being her true self.

 

Anastasia's outgoing personality effortlessly connects with people from all walks of life. She believes in the transformative power of yoga, a practice that helps us remember our true essence and live our precious lives with love. As a perpetual student herself, Anastasia is on a journey to inspire and be inspired, creating spaces where self-discovery and genuine connection thrive.

Retreating with us

  • 6 days/nights long, from Sunday to Saturday
  • Full board in an upscale traditionally designed cottage with private balcony
  • Two yoga classes per day
  • One meditation or celebration/ceremony per day 
  • 3 abundant and delicious meals each day (cooked using our fresh farm and sea produce)
  • One group dinner at Kea Retreat’s family’s taverna
  • Yoga equipment and accessories (mats, blocks, bolsters, straps, and blankets)
  • Pickup and drop off at ferry station
  • Swimming pool with in water lounging section
  • Vegetable garden
  • A private bay
  • Spontaneous dancing every night

Additional Activities:

Kayaks – venture into the sea with our kayaks, double or single, to discover caves and more isolated beaches.

Snorkeling – for those looking to discover what’s lurking under the surface and meet our local fish, or do some shell diving, snorkels and goggles are available.

Illoulida – walk down to the ancient capital, Ioulida, during sunset hours to explore the beautiful architecture and small shops (clothing, ceramics, local produce).

Island boat trip – set sail around the island on a calm ocean bed to uncover hidden corners of the island that can only be experienced by boat.

Hikes – the island is full of ancient trails that cross through farmlands and forests, up greeny hills, or down to secret shores with ruins from the 12th century BC.

Kastriani monastery – drive up the windy cliffs of the northern peak of the island to the breathtakingly beautiful blue and white Greek orthodox monastery that overlooks the Aegean sea.

Winery – have a picnic between the grape leaves of Kea Retreat’s vineyard while sipping on their locally grown wine.

Arts and crafts – feel free to use the art supplies situated on the shelf and let your creativity flow.

Music and Instruments – strum away at the guitar or play the tibetan bowls to the intoxicating sounds of nature.

Relax – unwind by picking a book off of the shelf and laying down on one of the outdoor beanbags, hammocks, or couches, or take a few more steps down to the beach and soak up some sun.
