Terms & Conditions

By booking your retreat with us, you are agreeing to the below Terms and Conditions - which may be amended from time to time - and all applicable laws and regulations.

Payment

+60 days prior to the retreat, 50% deposit will be charged (500 euros of which are non-refundable)

-60 days prior to the retreat, the remaining costs will be charged

Bookings made less than 60 days prior to retreat must be paid in full.

Cancellations

Cancellations are effective only when received in written form and have been responded to and acknowledged by us. For cancellations of:

+60 days prior to the retreat, 500 euro will be retained

-60 days prior to the retreat and is covid related, a voucher will be given to reschedule (according to availability)

Failure to join a retreat, arrival after the commencement of a retreat, or leave prior to its completion are ineligible for refunds.

Special cancellation term:

** Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 and has official proof of a positive test will receive a full refund in the form of a voucher valid for use until the end of season 2022 (up to October) and subject to the availability of packages and free spaces.

Force Majeure

We hold the right to replace the retreat teacher (yoga teacher) in case of illness, sickness or any other emergency or force majeure reason . No refund applies in this case.

Limitation of Liability

You acknowledge that during a retreat you participate voluntarily in any and all activities arranged by the retreat hosts, and insofar as legally permissible, forfeit your right to any cause of action against Kea Retreat arising from any loss or damage to person or property that occurs during a retreat.

You hereby agree to be responsible for your own welfare and accept any and all risks of delay, unanticipated events, inconveniences, illnesses, injuries, emotional trauma or death.

You hereby certify that you are physically fit and have not been advised to not participate, by any means or in any manner, in any activity arranged by Kea Retreat hosted by a qualified medical professional.

You hereby certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude your participation in any and all activities arranged by the retreat hosts.

You hereby waive, release and discharge from and against any and all liability from your participation in the trip and in any and all activities arranged by the retreat hosts, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of Kea Retreat and/or its employees and/or its collaborators and/or its subcontractors, for your death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to you including your trip to and from activities arranged by the retreat hosts, You agree that this release shall be legally binding upon you personally and all members of your family

Photo / Video Release Form

You hereby grant Kea Retreat the right and permission to use photos & videos in which you are featured and were taken during the retreat. We hold the right to use this material for advertising and promotional purposes. You hereby release and discharge Kea Retreat from any claims and demands arising out of the use of the photographs and footage, without limitation of any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.

COVID-19 Waiver

By joining our retreat, you agree to practice good hygiene, follow the social distancing rules, and comply with all of the necessary hygiene measures according to the current official general public health safety guidelines in accordance with the National Public Health Organization (NPHO) under the supervision of the Minister of Health guidelines. You also agree to take all of the necessary actions & measures before traveling to Greece (such as Covid 19 test, vaccination et al) according to international travel guidelines.

By booking a retreat you hereby certify that you have read and fully understood the present Terms & Conditions, you are aware that there is a release of liability included, and you accept and agree with all Terms & Conditions and applicable policies above. COVID-19: Retreat with Safety 2022

The measures Kea Retreat has put in place to ensure the health & safety of our guests:

We have created a safe environment for our guests to feel secure and relaxed. Our team is committed to offer safe and high quality retreats following all international guidelines and we adjust our safety procedures in order to be aligned with hygiene protocols. Below you may find the protocols that are in place in order to retreat with safety.

Health & Sanitation

Cleaning - disinfection: All high-risk areas such as living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor spaces and the yoga shala will be cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis along with any other communal use furniture & items (sockets, light switches etc.).

Check -in & out timings will be extended so there’s plenty of time for effective cleaning and natural airing of the rooms.

Health protection kits including masks, gloves ,and sanitizers will be placed in communal areas and will be made available to our guests.

Daily room cleaning will be avoided as per the health guidelines to avoid frequent interaction of the housekeeping personnel with the guests. Rooms will be cleaned once during the retreat or upon request.

Housekeeping and kitchen staff will be wearing masks and gloves when on duty.

All linen washing regulations are strictly followed.

The majority of retreat time is spent outdoors & in nature and big outdoor areas.

Our retreats are limited to small groups to avoid overcrowded gatherings and ensure a safe group experience.

The yoga takes place in outdoor covered yoga shalas which are sunlit & easily aired.

Each participant is required to clean their hands with sanitiser in the entrance and in the exit of the yogashala.

Each person will be provided their own yoga mat and block for the retreat by our team. We advise guests to bring their own mats and their own yoga towels.

The yogashala will be cleaned daily and mats will be spread out maintaining the recommended distance.

Our yoga equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at the end of every retreat.

Personnel training according to Health Protocols. We will have a ‘Health Coordinator’ who will be in charge to monitor that all health and safety procedures are followed on a daily basis. This person has followed the ‘Health First’ training as suggested by the Ministry of Tourism and he/she will be in charge to manage any possible Covid-19 cases and connect with the Health Center / doctor.

Handling of a COVID-19 case

In the event of a suspected or confirmed case, the guest will be handled according to the applicable laws and regulations, while ensuring that all health guidelines and procedures are followed.

Once the official regulations and protocols are released for the summer of 2022, we will update this document with all the latest information.

We appreciate that you refrain from joining one of our retreats if you have experienced symptoms of illness in the week prior to the retreat that are indicative of respiratory disease. Please notify us if such symptoms of illness develop during or after your retreat.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to inhibit guests from coming into our retreat premises that display any symptoms of COVID-19 to protect the health and safety of other guests and staff. In addition, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to take any appropriate measures permitted by the applicable laws for public health purposes.

Guest Compliance

By joining one of our retreats, you agree to practice good hygiene, follow social distancing rules, comply with all of the necessary preventive hygiene measures according to the official general public health safety guidelines in accordance with the National Public Health Organization (NPHO) under the supervision of the Ministry of Health guidelines, currently in force. The guest also agrees to take all the necessary precautions & measures before traveling to Greece (such as Covid 19 test, vaccination et al) according to the international travel guidelines.

We acknowledge the complications of the current situation and we’re fully committed to doing our best to ensure that our guests can travel and enjoy their retreat with safety and ease. We trust that each participant respects the above rules and that individual hygiene will always be in everyone’s daily practice.
